(Ad)diction

These are ekphrasic mixed-media works based on narratives from the WSU Women & Meth Project.  The works focus on Gilda, her family/friends, dialog, and the polysemy found in their relationships.  The creative inspiration for these works came from closely examining the ‘diction’ or the style and structure of speaking in the interviewers questions, Gilda’s narratives, and the intersections between language/discourse, relationship, and addiction/recovery.
